What is the Summit Foundation Medallion?

The Medallion is more than just a ski pass—it’s a gateway to some of the best skiing in Colorado, offering unparalleled access to:

  • Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, Vail and Beaver Creek (unrestricted access)
  • Steamboat and Winter Park (limited days)

In addition to skiing, Medallion holders enjoy exclusive discounts, year-round perks to businesses, and VIP access to special events in Summit County. Best of all, your participation helps fund crucial community programs and charitable initiatives.

This in-demand, transferable pass allows you to share the experience with friends, clients, and loved ones, making you the ultimate host. Whether introducing someone new to the sport or treating a colleague to an unforgettable day on the slopes, the Medallion helps you connect with others while giving back to the community.

How to Join the Medallion Program?

Each year, our valued community partners generously grant the Summit Foundation a limited number of Medallions to support our fundraising efforts. These passes are allocated in four-year class cycles to maximize benefits for participants.

Four-Year Class Structure: Medallion holders commit to a four-year term, with the option to renew at the end of their class cycle.

Waitlist Process: When a Medallion becomes available, individuals on the waitlist are contacted in the spring (post-ski season) and offered the opportunity to join the next four-year class.

One-Year Medallion Option: Occasionally, waitlisted individuals may be offered a one-year Medallion with the possibility of converting to a four-year pass in the next class cycle.

Payment & Tax Benefits: Payment is required at the start of each season annually or as a lump sum for the four-year term. Medallions are a charitable contribution, with a deductible value of $1,200 per year (consult your tax advisor for details).

Medallion Pricing & Availability

Pass prices are set each year for the new class cycle. The 2024-2028 class was priced at $25,000 for the four-year commitment, six-mountain transferable pass. Those interested in securing multiple Medallions or adding a second Medallion will be accommodated based on availability from the waitlist.
