Description

The Foundation Network creates a welcoming space for Summit Foundation staff, board members, donors, grantees, and partners to build relationships through organic conversation. The program’s central aim is to surface shared community challenges and spark collaborative problem‑solving, guided each month by a rotating discussion theme. Short talks and intentional small‑group dialogues help participants exchange insights, strengthen trust, and identify opportunities for collective action. The series ultimately nurtures a more connected, solutions‑focused nonprofit community in Summit County.

Each 1.5‑hour session includes

9-9:15 AM – Welcome + mingling

9:15-9:30 AM – 10-20-minute spark talk from a rotating guest or facilitator

9:30-10:20 AM - Organic thematic conversation

10:20-10:30 AM - Closing reflection (“One thing I’m taking with me today”)

Program Goals -Participants will

  • Build meaningful relationships with community members across the nonprofit ecosystem.
  • Explore a discussion theme that highlights shared community challenges and opportunities for collective action.
  • Gain fresh insights from brief spark talks and diverse perspectives.
  • Leave each session with at least one actionable idea or connection that supports stronger, more collaborative community problem‑solving.
