The deadline for 31st Annual Philanthropy Awards nominations is Sept. 22

The Summit Foundation is excited to announce the call for nominations for the prestigious 31st Annual Summit Foundation Philanthropy Awards. Nominations are now open and will be accepted until September 22, 2023. This year, we are thrilled to continue our tradition of honoring outstanding individuals and businesses who exemplify the spirit of philanthropy in their personal and professional lives.

Since 1991, the Summit Foundation has been a beacon of hope and inspiration through its dedication to cultivating a culture of giving back that celebrates those who devote their time, talent, and resources to enhance our community's well-being. The 31st Annual Philanthropy Awards, to be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, promises to be a heartwarming community celebration, where we will recognize and applaud the following categories of exceptional contributions:

Outstanding Business: This award acknowledges a business that has gone above and beyond to support philanthropic causes, embodying corporate social responsibility.

Outstanding Educator: Recognizing an educator who has made a significant impact on the lives of students and the community through their dedication to education and philanthropy.

Outstanding Citizen: Honoring an individual whose unwavering commitment to philanthropy has made a lasting difference in our community.

Dr. Oliver Stonington Award Outstanding Philanthropists: Celebrating individuals or couples who have consistently demonstrated exceptional generosity and a deep commitment to philanthropic causes.

Outstanding Nonprofit Professional: Recognizing a professional who has shown outstanding leadership and dedication within the nonprofit sector.

Outstanding Volunteer(s): Commending individuals or groups who have selflessly given their time and energy to support charitable endeavors.

Outstanding Youth: Acknowledging young individuals who have made a remarkable impact through their philanthropic efforts.

David Olbright Award Outstanding Youth Mentor: Honoring an individual who has guided and inspired young philanthropists to create positive change.
