The Summit Foundation is now selling tickets for the third-annual Wine at the Mine on Sept. 4 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Country Boy Mine in Breckenridge.
After two consecutive sellouts, this year’s event will continue to feature local wine, beer, cider and bourbon tastings. There will also be food, live music by High Lonesome, mine tours, axe throwing and an adult slide.
“This event is unlike anything else in Summit County,” said Suzanne Lifgren, communications officer at the Summit Foundation, in a recent press release. “Where else can you sip wine while learning about our mining history, savor locally crafted food, and mingle with philanthropists who care deeply about our community’s future?”
Tickets are $75 per person and include unlimited tastings, a commemorative wine tumbler, entertainment and full access to the historic site’s offerings. Proceeds support the Summit Foundation’s scholarships, nonprofit grants, and community initiatives across Summit County.
