The Summit Foundation is excited to announce the opening of its Spring 2024 grant cycle. Nonprofit organizations serving Summit County and neighboring communities, including Lake, Park, and West Grand Counties, are invited to apply for funding to support their community projects and initiatives.

"We are proud to invest in our community partners by providing grants to local nonprofit organizations in Summit County and our neighboring communities of Lake, Park, and West Grand Counties. Nonprofits may apply for a grant from The Summit Foundation once per year, and applications are accepted through our online grant application," said Megan Adamson, Program Manager at The Summit Foundation.

The Summit Foundation has recently transitioned to a new grant platform with Foundant Technologies, aiming to streamline and simplify the grant application process for applicants. The platform will require prior grant recipients to build a new account, but the investment today will provide a cleaner, easier process for the future.

The spring grant application is now open and will remain so until April 12, 2024. Organizations interested in applying are encouraged to visit the Summit Foundation Grant Application portal. New grantees to the Summit Foundation are advised to reach out to Program Manager, Megan Adamson, to schedule a discussion regarding their grant request.

For the past 40 years, The Summit Foundation has enriched the lives of people in our community through leadership and financial support of nonprofits. These organizations passionately provide programs that improve our arts and culture, provide a safety net and support for our health and human services, champion the environment, and reduce the barriers of access to education and youth enrichment to help foster dreams and our future workforce.

"We encourage eligible organizations to take advantage of this opportunity to secure funding for their impactful projects. Applicants should expect to hear award decisions 8-10 weeks after the application deadline," added Adamson.
