Demonstrating a steadfast dedication to fostering future leaders, the Summit Foundation has granted $360,000 in scholarships to 160 outstanding local high school seniors. When considering our renewable scholarships, this totals an impressive $500,000. Noteworthy is the fact that 36% of these recipients are first-generation college students in our community.

Jeanne Bistranin, Executive Director of The Summit Foundation, extends heartfelt gratitude to our generous scholarship donors. "We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of these scholars, made possible by your support. Your dedication to our community's youth embodies our shared commitment to fostering their journey through higher education."

The establishment of the 40th Anniversary Bright Futures Fund will significantly expand our scholarship program, providing added resources for four-year scholarships and Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities, further empowering students to achieve their academic and career aspirations.

Each year The Foundation awards scholarships as part of its mission to support working families. Students are selected based on financial need, academic excellence, and community service. All recipients are eligible to re-apply for a sophomore-year scholarship.

The Summit Foundation’s scholarships are made possible by our ski area partners Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain Resort, Keystone and over 3,500 community members who make direct donations, give through their paychecks, purchase ski medallions, and support our fundraising events including buying ducks for the Great Rubber Duck Race.
