The Summit Foundation is proud to celebrate 40 years of dedication to enhancing the quality of life in Summit County and neighboring communities. To mark this milestone, the Foundation will host its 40th Anniversary Soiree on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm in the Bighorn Room at the Copper Mountain Resort Conference Center.

The evening promises to be a spectacular celebration of the Foundation’s history, achievements, and future endeavors. The event will bring together community leaders, sponsors, and supporters for an elegant evening of dining, entertainment, and reflection on four decades of philanthropy and community building.

Attendees will enjoy a gourmet dinner, live music, and inspiring speeches from key individuals who have shaped the Foundation’s legacy. The evening will also feature the unveiling of a special video presentation highlighting the transformative impact of the Foundation's work and the stories of those who have benefited from its support.

"We are incredibly excited to celebrate this momentous occasion with our community," said Jeanne Bistranin, Executive Director of the Summit Foundation. "Over the past 40 years, the Foundation has grown alongside Summit County, and we are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our donors, sponsors, and volunteers. This soiree is not only a celebration of our past achievements but also a call to action for our continued commitment to building a brighter future for everyone in our community."

The Summit Foundation was established in 1984 with a mission to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors in Summit County and surrounding communities. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over $50 million in grants and scholarships, supporting a wide range of initiatives in education, arts and culture, environment, health and human services, and recreation.

Proceeds from the 40th Anniversary Soiree will benefit the Bright Futures Fund, which aims to elevate education and opportunities for youth in Summit County.
