The Summit Foundation's Philanthropy Awards Selection Committee is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Philanthropy Awards. Chosen from nominations submitted by community members across Summit County, the nine individuals, businesses, and partnerships will be honored on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge.
This year's theme, "Deep Roots, New Trails," showcases that no two philanthropic journeys are the same. From a couple who have given back for nearly 60 years to high school students just finding their stride, this year's honorees show the many ways Summit County residents give their time, talent, and treasure to strengthen their community.
"Every year, these awards remind us that philanthropy isn't measured by the size of a gift," said Ellen Reid, Executive Director of the Summit Foundation. "Some of this year's honorees have been building this community for nearly 60 years, and some are just getting started. Deep roots and new trails, side by side. That's what makes Summit County so special, and it's why we are all philanthropists."
The free event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a happy hour, followed by the awards presentation at 6:30 p.m. and a buffet dinner. Reservations are required and are now open at EVENTBRITE
The 2026 Philanthropy Awards are made possible by PNC Bank, Vail Health, and Climax Molybdenum, with special thanks to Beaver Run Resort.
