The
Summit Foundation is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the
Sophomore Scholarship Program, aimed
at supporting eligible college
freshmen as they transition into their sophomore year.
Students who were recipients of Summit Foundation General or Named Scholarships or a Rotary Club Scholarship during their senior year of high school are encouraged to apply. Eligibility requires maintaining good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. However, candidates with slightly lower GPAs are still encouraged to submit their applications.
"We are thrilled to continue our support for the educational pursuits of local students," said Fran Blumenfeld, Scholarship Specialist at the Summit Foundation. "These scholarships provide financial assistance and recognize and encourage academic excellence and community involvement."
Applications for the Sophomore and 4-year Scholarship Program are open from April 29, 2024, and must be submitted by May 28, 2024. Applicants are urged to submit their completed applications and supporting documents by the specified deadline.
Candidates should have received an email from the Summit Foundation with detailed instructions.
