The Summit Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Philanthropy Awards, a 33-year tradition that celebrates the incredible individuals, businesses, and organizations making a positive impact in our community. As we honor National Philanthropy Day, we invite community members to take the time to recognize the generosity and dedication that shaped Summit County.

“The Philanthropy Awards are a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together to create change,” said Jeanne Bistranin, Executive Director of the Summit Foundation. “By celebrating those who lead with generosity and care, we inspire others to join in building a stronger, more connected community.”

Nominations are open in eight different categories, giving everyone a chance to honor local champions of philanthropy. Whether it’s an individual who has gone above and beyond, a business that has prioritized community engagement, or a nonprofit that has made significant contributions, this is an opportunity to recognize the people and organizations driving positive change.

The deadline for nominations is September 27, 2024. A selection committee, comprised of Summit Foundation Board Members, prior awardees, and community members, will review all submissions and select this year’s winners.

The award recipients will be honored at The Summit Foundation’s Annual Philanthropy Awards Celebration on November 21, 2024, at Beaver Run Resort.
