What a view from the top of Keystone.

This spring snow has us looking back on one of the most memorable nights of the season — the Employee Last Tracks Party at Keystone, where 180 of our generous workers came together for night skiing, music, and a whole lot of good energy.

The Power of Giving One Paycheck at a Time

Employee giving is quiet philanthropy. There's no spotlight, no fanfare, just a small line on a pay stub that, multiplied across thousands of people, adds up to something extraordinary.

Right now, more than 2,000 Summit County locals contribute to the Summit Foundation directly through their employers. Together, those contributions reinvest more than $350,000 into Summit County every single year.

That money funds scholarships for local students, supports nonprofits across the county,  and strengthens the place we all call home. It happens because everyday workers, lift operators, teachers, hospitality staff, healthcare workers, retail employees, decide that a few dollars from each paycheck is worth giving back to the community that supports them.

Why We Danced on Top of a Mountain

We could write thank-you cards. We could send emails. But how do you really say thank you to 2,000 people whose generosity quietly powers an entire community?

You throw a party on top of a mountain.

Huge thanks to Keystone Ski Resort and Vail Resorts Epic Promise for hosting an unforgettable evening. The night skiing, the music, the laughter shared between coworkers and friends, it was a celebration of what's possible when an entire community decides to show up for itself.

You Are a Philanthropist

If you give through your paycheck, this is worth saying out loud: you are a philanthropist. Not someday. Not when you've made it. Right now.

Philanthropy isn't about the size of the gift. It's about the choice to invest in something bigger than yourself, paycheck after paycheck, year after year. And that's exactly what employee givers across Summit County do.

The Summit Foundation is proud to bring together people who understand that, together, we can make an impact — one paycheck at a time.

Thank you for your year-round support of our work in the community. We'll see you back on the mountain next season.
