A Summit County tradition for 36 years, the Great Rubber Duck Races plunge into the Blue River in Breckenridge on Saturday September 2nd. With the top prize of $2,000, there are a gaggle of prizes.

The Summit Foundation awarded over a million in grants to 57 local nonprofits through its end-of-year grants cycle. The grants focus on improving the quality, diversity and access to educational opportunities and sports for children of all ages.

At least 2,990 donations helped Summit Gives net $658,797 to benefit 60 local organizations as part of the annual Colorado Gives campaign, and philanthropic gifts continue to pour in.
